Clean Invest Africa plc is an Investment Vehicle that identifies investment opportunities and acquisitions in renewable and clean energy projects/companies or alternative technologies that are used in a socially and environmentally responsible way that will aid the development of the African continent, with the intention of building a diversified portfolio of assets.

Clean Invest Africa owns the CoalTech Group that is engaged in agglomerating coal fines into coal pellets through the commercialisation of its proprietary binding technology, using, amongst other things, heat and chemical processes. The CoalTech Group technology and plant has been successful and the CoalTech Group is now in the process of setting up its operations in various target markets by establishing joint ventures with local partners, commencing in South Africa.
