The New York Post reports that he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at his Manhattan office.
4. The UK's biggest retailers will next week warn Rishi Sunak that the government's waste strategy risks forcing prices up for consumers even as continued inflationary pressures exacerbate the cost-of-living crisis.
The British Retail Consortium (BRC) is expected to outline industry concerns about the costs associated with new packaging and bottle recycling measures.

3. Netflix has cut prices in more than 30 countries as it attempts to attract more subscribers.
Prices have been cut in parts of Asia, Europe, Latin America, sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East. The company did not name the UK or the US as countries where it had cut its prices.
