5. KFC says that by 2030, a third of all its new hires in the UK will be young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The fast food chain, that has about 950 restaurants across the UK, predicts the move will help about 6,000 people get their first job, at a time when the hospitality industry is grappling with staff shortages.
4. Sports Direct owner Frasers Group is reported to be close to securing the purchase of Gieves & Hawkes, the historic Savile Row tailor.
The retail giant, which was founded by Mike Ashley is said to be in advanced talks to buy the 251-year-old firm, which has its HQ at Number 1 Savile Row in London.
3. British employers are planning the biggest pay hikes in a decade to fill roles but real-term wages will still grow more slowly than inflation.
The quarterly survey by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) found employers expect to raise their basic pay rates by 4% on average over the coming year, and by as much as 5% in the private sector - the largest since the CIPD's records started in 2012.
2. Households are starting to receive a larger rebate on their energy bill under the Warm Home Discount scheme but concerns remain for those missing out.
The rebate was frozen at £140 for nearly a decade, but this winter it has increased to £150 and will be discounted automatically from bills but charities say some 500,000 households face missing out include some people with disabilities.

Offering a message few ministers would risk saying out loud, Mr Hunt said: "I've been explicit that taxes are going to go up."
