5. Parts of the source code which underpins multi-billionaire Elon Musk's social media platform has been leaked online, Twitter says.

It says the code was posted on GitHub, a Microsoft-owned service where software developers share code. It has now been taken down after Twitter requested its removal.

4. Post Office workers are being asked to vote on a 9% pay offer following "an extremely lengthy dispute" with employers, Britain's Communication Workers Union (CWU) said on Saturday.

"It's our view that the money now on offer marks a considerable step forward – several steps forward – from what was initially an unacceptable position on the part of the employer," said CWU acting deputy general secretary Andy Furey.

3. Energy giant Ovo has launched its first deal for customers cheaper than the government's cap on household bills.

The firm will offer a fixed 12-month tariff of £2,275 for existing customers, at a time when the government is limiting typical household bills to £2,500.

1. Low-income households will receive the next set of cost-of-living payments between 25 April and 17 May, the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) says.

The £900 cash support for over eight million means-tested benefits claimants includes people on Universal Credit, Pension Credit and tax credits.
