3. Mining giant Rio Tinto says it is working with authorities to try to find a radioactive capsule that went missing in Western Australia this month.
The casing contains a small quantity of radioactive Caesium-137, which could cause serious illness if touched. It was lost between the town of Newman and the city of Perth, a distance of roughly 1,400km (870 miles).
2. Staff who have lost their jobs due to the collapse of regional airline Flybe should apply for roles with EasyJet and Ryanair, say the two budget operators.
Flybe went into administration on Saturday, putting 277 staff out of work. EasyJet said it had 250 vacancies for cabin crew.
1. England's National Health Service (NHS) has announced a two-year recovery plan to help restore emergency care and frontline services, currently struggling through one of their toughest winters.
The state-funded NHS said it sought to reduce waiting times and improve patient experience under the plan, which includes 800 new ambulances and 5,000 new beds backed by a 1 billion pound fund.
