5. Uber is being sued in the US by 550 women who were allegedly assaulted by drivers on the ride-hailing platform.
The filing includes allegations women passengers "were kidnapped, sexually assaulted, sexually battered, raped, falsely imprisoned, stalked, harassed, or otherwise attacked by Uber drivers".
4. Average private rents in Britain have hit record highs, jumping by more than 20% in some areas, new data shows.
The average advertised rent outside London is 11.8% higher than a year ago, while in the capital it is up by 15.8%.
3. Netflix has teamed up with Microsoft to offer a cheaper subscription plan to customers that will show adverts.
The streaming giant says the service will be an "addition" to its existing plans, which do not include adverts.
2. Railway workers are to stage a one-day strike on 27th July as part of an ongoing dispute over pay, jobs and conditions, the RMT union says.
It comes after thousands of train operators and Network Rail workers walked out during national strike action in June.

Low-income households on means-tested benefits will receive the £326 payment by the end of July with the second instalment of £324 in the autumn.
