5. Amazon and Microsoft's "concerning" dominance in the cloud services market could require investigation by the UK's competitions regulator, Ofcom has said.

The Competitions and Markets Authority (CMA) was told it may want to look into the sector after the media watchdog identified issues of its own with how it is skewed towards the US tech giants.

4. Sainsbury's  has defended its new minced beef packaging after some shoppers complained it turned the meat to mush.

The store explained the mince was being vacuum packed to use 55% less plastic.

3. Coaches due to leave Dover on Good Friday will be staggered over three days in a bid to avoid long delays.

The Port of Dover said it had decided to spread coach traffic across Thursday, Friday and Saturday was made after talks with ferry operators & some coach passengers ended up waiting for more than 12 hours.

Royal Mail says it is "deeply concerned" discussions concluded without agreement and claimed it made "substantial efforts" to reach a deal.

1. A new tax year has now started with calls for people to be "diligent" with their finances due to tax, pension and benefit rules.

Frozen income tax thresholds mean millions of people could be pulled into a higher tax band or see a greater proportion of their salaries taxed. But, on Monday, the state pension and a host of benefits will rise by 10.1%.

A series of bill increases - including council tax, water, and vehicle excise duty - came into force on 1 April.
