According to the company's website, it stopped taking action against tweets breaching its Covid rules, on Wednesday, 23 November.

4. A key measure of China's factory activity has further fallen in November, according to official figures.

The Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) fell to 48 from 49.2 in October as strict Covid restrictions and weakening global demand weigh on the world's second largest economy.

3. Britain has agreed in principle a digital trade deal with Ukraine, the eastern European country's first such agreement as it seeks support for its economy following Russia's invasion.

Talks on the digital deal began in the summer and were fast-tracked with a view to supporting Ukraine's economy through the war and afterwards.

2. Postal workers at Royal Mail have begun a fresh 48-hour strike in a row over pay and conditions.

It is the latest in a series of walkouts involving 115,000 postal workers and will affect deliveries of letters and parcels across the UK.

1. Octopus Energy's acquisition of collapsed supplier Bulb, thought to be worth between £100m and £200m could face further delays after rival firms Eon, British Gas and Scottish Power have challenged the deal in court.

Bulb, which had about 1.6 million customers, collapsed last year when wholesale gas prices soared & was bailed out by the government and is currently being run by the UK's energy regulator Ofgem.
