Irish gold and zinc exploration and development company, Arkle Resources (ARK)  announced on Wednesday that a newly released survey had released data identifying new geological features at the Company's Stonepark Zinc Project.

The group had carried a preliminary analysis of data from the Geological Survey of Ireland’s 'Tellus' airborne geophysical survey, revealing previously unknown and prospective geological features at the site of which Arkle holds a 23.44% interest in.

The site’s preliminary analysis was undertaken by the group’s joint venture partner Group Eleven Resources Corp, or “Group Eleven”.

The survey uncovered data showing Limerick Volcanic cover rocks in much clearer detail than on any previous survey.

"Our partners continue to build evidence supporting new and exciting exploration targets to the south of the project along the 'Pallas Green Corridor',” revealed Patrick Cullen, Chief Executive Officer of Arkle.

“We expect further holes to be drilled in the vicinity of Kilteely, where we had exciting drilling results earlier this year.  The detail visible in the new data will assist with refining these decisions,” he added.

The group also came across new prospective targets in the south west of the project which appeared to be buried intrusives.
