Investment firm, Armadale Capital (ACP) has announcing the official appointment of Mr. Gerrard (‘Ged’) Hall as Non-executive Director to the Board with immediate effect.
The news follows an earlier statement in November in which the group detailed Hall as a replacement of former board member, Paul Johnson, and detailing that his position would go into effect following the completion of regulatory due diligence.
Mr Hall will bring with him “a wealth of finance experience” having previously worked at multinational firms including Barclays Wealth, UBS Investment Bank, JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley respectively.
Director of Armadale, Nick Johansen, highlighted Hall as “a great addition” to Armadale’s management team who are looking to build upon their momentum.
Currently, Hall is acting as a senior consultant to stockbroking firm, SI Capital, a role he has experienced previously at HSBC, Natixis and Barclays Wealth UK.
Shares in Armadale Capital were trading 5.71% higher at 3.7p on Friday morning.
“We are delighted to welcome Ged Hall to the Board at such an exciting time as we look to progress the Mahenge Liandu graphite project from exploration to production,” said Johansen.
"It is a measure of our future growth plans that we're able to attract such high-quality people to Armadale.”
In early November the board explained that they had been increasingly focused on the project’s infrastructure and ensuring all the elements necessary to commence mining operations at the site.
Armadale owns a 100% interest in the Mahenge Liandu Graphite Project which is located in south-east Tanzania.
