Audioboom (BOOM) , the AIM listed pocast company, on Monday posted revenues of $5.7 million during the third quarter ending 30 September, and a cash balance of $2.5 million.
Revenue for the first 3 quarters of the year was recorded at $15.5 million, a 127% increase from $6.8 million last year.
Brand advertiser count was up 15% from the previous quarter at 244, a 45% from the same quarter last year.
Global revenue per 1,000 downloads (eCPM) for September increased to US$27.38, up 28% on the same period last year, and total available premium advertising impressions in Q3 was 446 million, a 66% increase from the same period last year.
Stuart Last, interim CEO of Audioboom said the strong quarter cements the company as “one of the largest independent podcast companies in the world”.
He added: “Audioboom is in the strongest position since its founding, and I'm excited to lead this incredible team into a new phase, fully focused on driving the core business forward and delivering value to our podcast partners and our shareholders."
Stuart Last stepped up as CEO in September taking over from founder Rob Proctor who left the company as it enters a “more mature phase”.
