International video analytics provider, Big Sofa Technologies (BST) , said on Thursday that it had been selected as Global Systems Partner to one of the world's largest food and beverage companies.

The client, a US-based multinational food and beverage company, has committed to an initial spend of more than $400,000 under the terms of the partnership.

The $400,000 is expected to be revenue for 2019 to cover licensing the firm’s technology platform, work to embed the platform within the organisation, as well as foundational video analytics.

With the client expected to generate substantial revenues for the Company in 2020 and beyond, Kirsty Fuller, CEO of Big Sofa Technologies, commented "I am delighted to announce this enterprise-level win, marking progress against our second strategic pillar - our direct to client offering.

Following a competitive procurement process, Big Sofa’s appointment as a global partner embeds its own technology within an enterprise level, the company explained, driving forward the client's behavioural data agenda.
