Blackbird (BIRD) on Tuesday announced it won a 2 year contract to provide its cloud video editing platform to Eleven Sports.
Eleven Sports is part of global sports investment group Aser entures, and has has rights to sports properties in various territories that include the UEFA Champions League, Premier League and the Bundesliga, as well as the NBA, NFL and the UFC.

He added: “Eleven have selected Blackbird for its unparalleled speed to air, high quality output and easy scalability. We look forward to expanding with them as they grow."
Eleven Sports will use Blackbird’s platform to rapidly clip, edit and publish sports content seconds after live to its social channels and OTT platforms in Belgium and Portugal.
Stevie Rowe, Head of Production at Eleven Sports, said: "We want to give our fans access to the best sporting moments as quickly as possible and Blackbird will play a big role in helping us do that.”
He said: “They have a great product and we're really looking forward to working with them."
This comes weeks after Blackbird won a contract with Bloomberg, adding to its customer list that now includes the likes of IMG, A+E Networks and the U.S Department of State
