Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) , a Wyoming-focused oil and gas developer, announced the resignation of its CEO John Cowan. COPL said Cowan will remain on the board of directors for the time being while a replacement is found.
COPL shares climbed 9.03% on the announcement.
