Developer of career development platforms and VR student experiences, Dev Clever (DEV) , announced on Monday the full live launch of its innovative careers guidance platforms after the group offered an update for the Educate platform.

Having secured multiple collaborations and partnerships, the group believes this strategy will enable capitalisation on the immediate UK market which the company forecasts to be in excess of £100 million per annum.

They will now move forward with the aim of securing 10% of this exact market opportunity by 2023.

“Dev Clever has made significant internal investment in proprietary platforms, products and infrastructure and as a business we have been strategically gearing up for this exact moment,” said Chief Executive, Chris Jeffries.

Whilst recognising alternative markets as offering further opportunities for expansion, work has commenced to localise the platform for a widespread roll-out of the Educate platform across other territories.

The group will therefore prepare for this movement, starting with a 2020 roll-out in North America, a market estimated at approximately six times larger than that of the UK.

The group further explained that it had kick-started its sales and marketing activity in line to commence with the start of the new academic year.

The company has worked over the past five years in collaboration with students, schools, educational institutions, training providers and employers to “centralise and revolutionise” the careers sector.

This “Clever” solution targets the UK skills gap, government estimated to cost the UK tax payer £90 billion per year by 2024 -- as a result, the gap has been cited as a “critical national issue.”

Graham Feek, Deputy Chief Executive, Greenwood Academies Trust added, “What Dev Clever is doing with its innovative careers' guidance platform is amazing and I'm convinced that Launchpad and VICTAR will make such a big difference to the aspirations and outcomes for pupils.”
