Dev Clever Holdings (DEV) announced today that its core virtual reality multi-user framework has been approved to launch its first live interactive experience across multiple platforms, including Google Play, Apple Appstore, Oculus Store, and Samsung Gear VR.
Dev Clever’s core framework enables rapid multiplayer development within immersive, full 360-degree VR experiences and games. Essential to this is the framework’s usability across platforms and devices-- allowing players to tap into the same experience, no matter where they are and regardless of how they are connected.
These features not only magnify an interconnected audience experience but also allow Dev Clever to quickly introduce competitive games and seasonally themed VR experiences.
Moreover, the access to multiple platforms means new or updated games can be made available to the mass market quickly and directly, reducing the cost of development and increasing accessibility to a range of global audiences.
Examples of these deployments include the company’s Easter Squad VR, and later this year Dev Clever will release Halloween and Christmas themed games as well.
The company, newly listed on the LSE, also recently released its latest virtual reality experience “VICTAR” (Virtual Interactive Careers Training & Apprenticeship Robot), the world’s first interactive VR careers guidance experience, to schools across the UK as part of their division EDUCATE.
Dev Clever's CEO Chris Jeffries, commented: "This is the final framework to be released from Dev Clever. The core virtual reality framework allows the Company to leverage greater opportunities through all three of our channels, by providing multiuser eLearning and training modules to our Educate customers and selling immersive multiplayer gaming experiences through our Engage hospitality, leisure, brand and retail customers.
This exciting step forward positions Dev Clever at the heart of immersive education, consumer engagement and competitive gaming."
