Europa Metals Ltd  has released the results from its Phase II drilling operations at their wholly-owned Toral Project, the group’s lead-zinc-silver project in the Province of León, Spain.

The Toral Project is the company’s first infill drilling programme.

Key among the developments is the intersection of zinc, lead, and silver mineralisation that occurred in all three holes completed as part of the team’s diamond drilling programme. These drill holes constitute the initial infill drilling of the Phase II programme, with the results confirming block model grade and thickness.

Overall, the Phase II drilling programme is contained within the existing resource area, with the aim of filling  in gaps within the historic drill patterns.

The geological team will keep with the drilling strategy to remove ‘gaps’ within the known resource, all within 300m of the surface, to identify signs of a possible decline or entry route for the first years of mining.

Subsequent steps of the Phase II programme are likely to target high grade Inferred Resource areas in order to advance the Toral Project towards a Feasibility Study.
