EVR Holdings (AIM:EVRH) said its MelodyVR platform will be offered to O2 customers across the UK in addition to the company’s on-going 5G partnership with the services operator.
The operator of the MelodyVR platform revealed that O2 customers will now be able to choose MelodyVR from O2’s "upcoming menu" of premium brand offers as part of its new extras programme.
O2 announced the launch of O2 extras this morning with the aim of offering greater flexibility and affordability to its customers -- the programme will be on offer to new and upgrading pay monthly customers on a handset, tablet or SIM only contracts.
Joining the O2 extras line-up alongside MelodyVR are a range of brands including Amazon Prime, Amazon Music Unlimited, Audible and Cafeyn.
Shares in EVR Holdings were trading 4.46% higher at 5.85p on Thursday afternoon.
At its launch, customers with a 30GB monthly plan will get a six-month subscription, and those with 5GB a month and above will get three months -- customers may also choose to add the platform to their plan as a recurring feature for an additional £9.99 per month.
“We look forward to offering O2's millions of customers access to MelodyVR and benefitting from an increased user-base and the subsequent additional revenues generated by the partnership,” said Anthony Matchett, Chief Executive of MelodyVR.
Today’s announcement builds on MelodyVR’s existing partnership with O2 offering a 12-month subscription to the platform for all new 5G customers.
