GAN plc (GAN) , the internet gambling software-as-a-service provider announced on Wednesday an expansion of its agreement with FanDuel Group, to expand into Indiana, USA.

FanDuel Group, the US based bookmaker and daily fantasy sports provider, launched Internet sports betting for the 6.7 million residents of Indiana yesterday.

GAN told investors that the expansion of its agreement “represents a material increase in the value of the partnership”.

Indiana legalised sports betting on May 8, 2019, and begun the intra-state Indiana market of Internet gambling on October 3, 2019.

Dermot Smurfit, Chief Executive Officer of GAN said: “Rapid deployment into the State of Indiana is a logical extension of our relationship to best support FanDuel in capturing early market share of Internet sports betting in Indiana."

He told investors: "Our effective and compliant Platform represents a premium component of the supply chain and our team has a track record of on-time delivery for our long-standing client FanDuel, which has proven to be an exceptionally successful partnership to date in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.”

GAN also confirmed on Wednesday that it has received a Temporary Supplier License from the Indiana Gaming Commission.

It has had a license in the state of New Jersey since 2013, and in the state of Pennsylvania since July 2019.

The company licenses its technology GameSTACK™, to land-based US casino operators as a turnkey technology solution for regulated real-money internet gambling, including internet gaming, internet sports gaming and virtual Simulated Gaming.
