LightwaveRF (LWRF) , a leading smart home solutions provider, has signed an agreement with Google to jointly market the American tech company’s smart speakers.
The deal establishes Lightwave as the first installed Smart Lighting manufacturer in the UK to offer voice-controlled lighting in a consolidated starter kit. The starter kit bundle offer has already launched in Germany, which the UK is set to follow later this month.
A partnership with Google firmly roots Lightwave as a first-mover in the European smart lighting market-- one that, globally, is set to be worth $24 billion by 2023.
The new collaboration is also likely to boost Lightwave’s reach as the two companies look to “engage in a range of initiatives to demonstrate Lightwave and Google products working together in-store and online.”
