Live Company Group (LVCG) , through the recently acquired company Bright Bricks, will be launching more of its Great Brick Safari exhibitions across additional zoos and safari parks, beginning later this month.

The company has contracted with eight additional zoos and parks, including a major zoo in each of Europe and the USA, with the aim to form further partnerships with similar venues worldwide.

The debut exhibition of Bright Brick's Great Brick Safari at Marwell Zoo in 2017 was highly successful and provided the company with a proof of concept for its current strategy and a base for further expansion plans.

Sean Mannie, Commercial Director of Marwell Wildlife, said: “Overall, the show significantly exceeded our expectations, with an actual uplift in guest numbers that was well beyond what we had budgeted for and resulting in a very positive financial surplus.”

Shares in Live Company Group were trading at 62.5p a share following the announcement.

The success showed in the group’s half year results, which showed revenues of £2.842m for the six months to June 2018, up from its 2017 full year revenues of £1.928m and a record operating profit of £503k.

Elsewhere the brand is growing, as its joint venture partner in China, also launched a Bricklive Animal Paradise tour of 20 cities around China over the next 3 years. It held a successful event at the Beijing National Stadium, raising public awareness in China about the threatened disappearance of a large number of species, with aims to reach over a million visitors in China.

David Ciclitira, Executive Chairman of Live Group Company plc, said: “We are pleased to be confirming the launch of our touring concept in zoos and parks in the US and Europe, which was one of our strategies for the recent acquisition of Bright Bricks.

“Combining the The Great Brick Safari package with the success of BRICKLIVE ANIMAL PARADISE enables BRICKLIVE TOURING to strengthen and in turn ensure the capacity for an additional range of concepts, strengthening the Group as a global children’s entertainment and education brand.”
