Research on ATOME PLC (ATOM:LON) from Longspur Clean Energy
ATOME remains in negotiation to try and re-establish a power purchase agreement that can see the Villeta green fertiliser project move into construction. The company has reported final and interim results showing cash on the balance sheet and ongoing support. While there is clear uncertainty, and we have put our forecasts under review, there is also ongoing activity beyond the Villeta project both within Paraguay and further afield including Brazil. These projects can benefit from the learnings developed during the past 18 months which is the tangible progress in the results announced on Friday.
