Love Hemp (LIFE) has unveiled a partnership with online mental health platform Togetherall which will see it offer free access to the platform for subscribers of the Love Hemp newsletter as the company pledges to position wellness ‘at the front and centre of its offerings.’
The London-listed cannabidiol (CBD) and hemp product supplier highlighted to investors that alongside growing its wellness product offering, the Company is focused on providing its consumers with the tools to help improve their health and wellbeing in all aspects of life.
Through registration via a unique URL, any Love Hemp purchaser or subscriber (aged 16+) can sign up anonymously and have instant, free access to the Togetherall platform, it said.
The platform’s purpose is to create a community of people who support and guide each other, the company explained. In addition, the platform also enables access to a team of trained mental health professionals who moderate the service and monitor its users' needs.
In addition, Togetherall’s platform also offers access to a range of courses and resources to help its users understand the different kinds of mental illnesses, and ways to support them.
Togetherall, which has been commissioned for use across education systems in the UK and North America, and by many employers and organisations such as the NHS and Armed Forces, has chosen Love Hemp as its first consumer partner in this first of its kind partnership.
Togetherall has been in operation for 14 years and with mental health professionals based around the world. The platform has supported more than 300,000 members living with mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. Its team of mental health professionals monitoring the platform are based all around the world, ensuring 24/7 safe support, it noted.
Tony Calamita, CEO of Love Hemp Group, commented, "I am incredibly proud of Love Hemp's partnership with Togetherall, especially with our relationship being the first of its kind. Mental health has always been something that has been quite close to home for me and has felt like the silent epidemic. The team at Love Hemp wanted to give back to our community of customers and partners by offering them access to free mental health support, 24/7.”
"In the last year, the impact of the coronavirus pandemic has had a profound effect on people's mental wellbeing and will continue to do so for years to come,” he explained.
He added, “We chose Togetherall because it offers anonymous support 24/7, bridging the gap for those who do not want to talk to friends or family, or seek professional help.
The online resources they also offer provide important education around mental health, as it is so valuable to know and understand your problem when you're trying to tackle it."
Commenting on the first of its kind partnership, Henry Jones, CEO of Togetherall, said, "By providing Togetherall access, Love Hemp's subscribers can join a supportive and safe online environment to talk openly and anonymously about their feelings or experiences.”
He added, “This is a unique partnership for us, so we are delighted to welcome Love Hemp and its customers to the Togetherall community and help support more people with their mental health."
