Mindflair (MFAI) has noted that Sure Valley Ventures’ third fund (SVV3), in which Mindflair holds an interest, has completed a new investment in Mirror Security Limited.
Mirror is a Dublin-based AI data security company focused on protecting sensitive data across the generative AI ecosystem.
The investment strengthens Mindflair’s exposure to fast-growing AI infrastructure businesses tackling enterprise-grade security challenges.
Spun out of University College Dublin (UCD), Mirror has raised US$2.5 million in pre-seed funding in a round co-led by Sure Valley Ventures (SVV) and Atlantic Bridge, with support from strategic angel investors. The company, founded by Pankaj Thapa and UCD professor and global AI security expert Dr Aditya Narayana K, is scaling its encryption platform for AI security.
Mirror is targeting one of the most pressing barriers to enterprise AI adoption - how to keep proprietary and sensitive data confidential during model training and inference. As organisations embed AI into core workflows, the risk of exposing critical data has increased. Mirror’s Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) technology, VectaX, allows AI systems to process data while it remains fully encrypted, aiming to deliver strong privacy without sacrificing performance.
In addition, on 24 November 2025 Mirror announced a multi-million-dollar strategic agreement with Inception AI, a G42 company and leading agentic AI provider in the UAE. Under the partnership, Mirror will deploy its full AI security stack across Inception’s enterprise and government ecosystem to support secure, scalable AI adoption. Mirror has also built a network of strategic partnerships with Intel, MongoDB, Qdrant, SiSys AI and Accops.
As an investor in SVV3, Mindflair gains indirect exposure to Mirror’s growth, in line with its strategy of backing early-stage AI software companies addressing mission-critical needs in enterprise and government markets.
Mindflair’s Director Nicholas Lee siad: "This investment in Mirror highlights our continued commitment to support pioneering AI software companies that are addressing mission-critical enterprise challenges. Mirror's technology is a true enabler for secure AI adoption, ensuring data privacy while allowing organisations to harness the full potential of AI."

Mirror gives Mindflair further leverage to a key bottleneck in AI adoption - data security. By backing FHE-based solutions at an early stage, Mindflair is positioning its portfolio to benefit as enterprises and governments look for ways to deploy AI at scale without compromising sensitive information.
