Elektron Technology (EKT) rises 19% to 43p a share

Elektron Technology (EKT)  offers technology products and services to businesses, via its 3 main offerings: Bulgin, Checkit and Elektron Eye Technology.

It provided a trading update for its third quarter reporting sales increasing by £25.8m, 17% year to date, with trading from its Bulgin and Elektron Eye Technology expected to be significantly ahead of market expectations

Biome Technologies (BIOM) rises 13% to 715p a share

Biome Technologies (BIOM) , is a bioplastics and radio frequency technology business.

It provided a trading update for its third quarter, reporting revenues increasing 56% to £2.6m, compared to last year. 

It reported the revenues reflected the current demand for the commercialised outer packaging and non-woven filter mesh for the US coffee pod market, as well as the exceptional demand for fibre optic furnaces in 2018.

Defenx (DFX) rises 40% to 14.75p a share

Defenx (DFX) , is a security software company that offers products for mobile, PC and network security markets.

It made an announcement yesterday outlining its new strategy of a compound model of SaaS to smaller customers and direct sales to large corporates and the public sector.

The company stated “Following the recent challenges, we are pleased that we now have a platform to take the Company forward and rebuild shareholder value.”
After opening at 5.25p a share on Wednesday, markets continue to react positively to the announcement.

Tower Resources (TRP) rises 14% to 1.625p a share

Tower Resources (TRP)  is an oil and gas company focused on Africa.

It announced the results of an independent Reserves Report for its Thali license in offshore Cameroon, identifying gross mean prospective resources of 111 MMbbls of oil across four identified prospects in its Thali license.

It has calculated an estimated monetary value of US$118 million for the contingent resources, and US$82 million for the prospective resources
