IamFire (FIRE) revealed its interim results for the period of 30 April 2021 to 31 October 2021.  The company said significant changes took place with the appointment of John Taylor as Chief Executive Officer and Sandy Barblett as the Non-executive Chairman at the end of September 2021. On 22 December 2021, IamFire subscribed for £2m worth of CLNs with WeShop Holdings. The WeShop platform is now live (www.we.shop), with a limited user base, prior to its formal launch in Q1 2022.   IamFire concluded a fundraise of £4.75m of new equity on 14 December 2021.  This has secured the balance sheet of FIRE and provided the capital required to subscribe for the WeShop CLNs, should the Board deem that appropriate.

ANGLE (AGL), a liquid biopsy company, said that the Edith Cowan University, Perth, Australia, has published results from a study in ovarian cancer patients using the Parsortix® system. The primary aim of this study was to demonstrate the ability to evaluate the expression of both epithelial and mesenchymal markers, as well as PD-L1 status, of circulating tumour cells isolated using the Parsortix system, which may help to predict whether patients will respond to immunotherapy drugs. The Parsortix system was selected by researchers for the study due to its ability for unbiased CTC enrichment, enabling the isolation of both epithelial and mesenchymal cancer cells and those in transition.

Destiny Pharma (DEST), a clinical stage innovative biotechnology company, noted the publication of a major Lancet study highlighting that over one million deaths occurred in 2019 due to bacterial Antimicrobial Resistance and that AMR is one of the leading causes of death across the world. The report also notes the importance of infection prevention in mitigating AMR and names Staphylococcus aureus as one of the six leading lethal pathogens. DEST said the results from its Phase 2b study demonstrate the potential of its XF-73 nasal gel to prevent post-surgical infections caused by S. aureus, such as MRSA, and it is focused on finalising the Phase 3 clinical trial plans. Additionally, it is testing XF-73 in two dermal infection preclinical programmes.

88 Energy (88E) said that its application to join the OTCQB Market in the United States has been accepted and the company's shares are now listed for trading under the code EEENF. The OTCQB Venture Market is for entrepreneurial and development stage US and international companies.

ADM Energy (ADM), a natural resources investing company, said that it has raised a total of £561,000 through a subscription from Optima Resources Holding Limited, a family office owned natural resources investment company registered and based in the United Arab Emirates. The funds will be used for general working capital, as ADM continues to evaluate investment opportunities.

Tertiary Minerals (TYM), the London listed explorer, said that further to the company's announcement of a fundraising on 19 January 2022, the Broker Option, a facility to allow existing shareholders to participate in the Fundraising on similar terms to the Placing, has now closed and was exercised in respect of the maximum number of new shares available under the option.  The Broker Option has raised £100,000 at a price of 0.17 pence, bringing the total amount raised under the Placing and Broker Option to £600,000.

Westminster Group (WSG), a supplier of managed services and technology-based security solutions, said that the Standstill Period referred to in its $1.7m airport security contract award announcement on 17 December 2021 has now ended and the formal notice of contract award to Westminster has been issued. Accordingly works are expected to begin in February and the project to be completed and recognised during 2022.

Kavango Resources (KAV) the exploration company, announced the completion of a ground gravity survey over the Great Red Spot, in Target Area B of the Company's Kalahari Suture Zone project. The GRS is a previously identified large-scale ~11km diameter magnetic anomaly that has been subject to limited historic exploration. The Gravity Survey has identified a strong gravity anomaly, which is coincident with the roughly 2250 nanoTesla positive magnetic anomaly of the GRS.
