Shares in China Nonferrous Gold surge 50% to 5.98p each

China Nonferrous Gold (CNG) , the mineral exploration and mining company focused on mining its Pakrut gold project in the Republic of Tajikistan.

It announced today the finalisation of the combined/linked commissioning of the filing system and tailings transportation at the Pakrut gold mine.

It marks the company achieving already a production scale of 2000 tons per day.

Previously it announced the finalisation of all infrastructure projects in the mine were expected to be completed q4 2018.

The company faced difficulties over the winter, recently receiving insurance claims following losses caused by a snowstorm.

However after restoring operations, on 1st July 2018, the Pakrut gold mine entered into production with gold ingots being poured.
