Shearwater Group (SWG) has secured a ~£9 million, three-year contract renewal and expansion through its Brookcourt Solutions business, covering a cyber defence email security solution for a leading global financial organisation.
The deal is expected to support delivery of FY26 market expectations, with £2.7 million due to be recognised in FY26.
Under the terms of the agreement, Brookcourt will renew the customer’s Advanced Email Gateway and Insider Threat Management arrangements, while also expanding Secure Email Gateway capacity. As a result, Brookcourt will deliver, implement and support an email security deployment across the customer’s global estate, using partner technologies to strengthen cyber defence capabilities.
Shearwater Group’s Group Chief Executive Officer Phil Higgins said: “This significant contract win demonstrates the strength of Brookcourt Solutions' cyber security capabilities and its trusted relationship with global financial institutions. Securing a long-term renewal alongside a major capacity expansion highlights both the critical nature of the services provided and the confidence customers place in our teams. This win further underpins the Group's strategy of building recurring, high-value revenues from market-leading cyber defence solutions.”

Renewals with expansions are usually the most telling kind of win - they suggest the customer is not just sticking around, but increasing reliance on the platform. The £2.7 million booked in FY26 also gives a clear near-term revenue marker, while the three-year term should add a bit more predictability to the group’s run-rate.
