Shearwater Group (SWG) has secured a new US$1.2 million, three-year contract through its Brookcourt Solutions subsidiary with one of Japan's largest financial groups and a leading global banking organisation.
Brookcourt Solutions will provide Core Email Protection technology designed to defend against increasingly sophisticated email-based cyber threats, including phishing, business email compromise, account takeover attempts and data loss.
The platform also aims to reduce security operations centre workloads through automated threat detection and response. For the customer, the technology is expected to strengthen cyber resilience, support regulatory compliance and reduce the financial impact of potential security incidents.
Importantly, the award strengthens Brookcourt Solutions' position in the global financial services sector while adding recurring revenue to the group over the next three years.
"This award from one of the world's largest banking organisations is another endorsement of Brookcourt's capability to deliver enterprise-class cybersecurity solutions to highly regulated organisations," said Shearwater Group Chief Executive Officer Phil Higgins.
"Email remains one of the primary attack vectors for cybercriminals, and we are delighted to support this customer with a market-leading platform that strengthens its security posture, reduces operational burden and enhances resilience. This contract also further demonstrates the quality of our customer base and our continued ability to win strategic international business."
