Strategic Minerals , a mineral production company focused in the development of battery materials, has hit “bonanza” grade intercepts in the first three holes of its Redmoor Tin-Tungsten drilling programme in Cornwall.
The intercepts reported for tin, copper, and tungsten are the highest-grade to date in the project.
The group has also begun the first hole of the programme’s Phase 2, where outstanding intercepts of up to 29.7% tin equivalent have confirmed improving grades at depth. As such, the group has added a fifth hole to Phase 2 which is expected to be completed by mid-December and full results from Phase 2 are likely to be available early in Q1 2019.
Executive Director, Peter Wale celebrated the news, “The sustained superb assay results from Redmoor which have surpassed our expectations continue to highlight exciting high-grade tin equivalent values. We have great confidence for the potential to both increase the resource tonnage and grade at Redmoor and demonstrate the scope for it to become a notably attractive project."
