Luxury interior furnishings group, Walker Greenbank (WGB) , announced on Tuesday an extension of its distribution agreement with Kravet Inc. to include Canada as a distributor for its two brands.
Kravet, the premier US home furnishings resource, has been distributing the Clarke & Clarke and Studio G brands in the US since August this year.
The decision to extend the brands to the Canadian market follows a positive start to its distribution across the American market.
The brands were, until earlier this year, distributed in Canada by Robert Allen Duralee, which also formerly distributed them in the US.
Walker Greenbank has a long track record with Kravet Inc. through the company’s manufacturing operations which print wallpapers and fabrics for certain brands of Kravet Inc.
Cary Kravet, Kravet Inc.'s President and Chief Executive Officer noted Canada as “a vibrant market” for Kravet, with brand new showrooms having recently opened in Toronto and Vancouver.
Lisa Montague, Walker Greenbank's Chief Executive Officer expressed her delight at the extension agreement, acknowledging that the deal gave the firm “a single, strong distributor for the two brands in North America."
