Low-cost carrier Wizz Air Holdings Plc said on Tuesday that both passenger numbers and seat capacity had improved in February.
Wizz Air said it had carried 4.6m passengers last month, up 5.1% year-on-year, while seat capacity increased 3%, resulting in a load factor of 91.8%, up 1.8 percentage points on February 2024.
The London-listed firm stated the yield environment and booking profile "remained positive" but noted that it had moderated when compared to its January year-on-year improvement.
Wizz Air also said it has seen better-than-expected revenue trends for Q1 when compared to the prior year, underpinning "a stronger start" to the current trading year.
