ZOO's announcement of a new facility in Chennai marks a significant milestone in the media services provider's expansion on the subcontinent. The second facility should scale up capacity to more than double ZOO India's revenues in FY24, while catering to growing local demand for post-production in the region's wide array of languages.
The expansion follows a successful first full year for ZOO India since its integration into the group in March 2022. It also highlights ZOO's commitment to the region and its growing entertainment industry, recognising significant future potential with OTT revenues in India predicted to grow to approx. $4.5bn by 2026.
