A consortium of investors has sold about £1.6bn worth of shares in London Stock Exchange Group Plc .
York Holdings, which is backed by Blackstone, the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, GIC Special Investments Pte and Thomson Reuters, sold around 17.3m shares in a placing to institutional investors at 9,150p each.
This is a premium of 1.1% to the closing share price on Tuesday.
