MedPal AI (MPAL ), a UK-based digital health and AI company focused on wellness management, will start trading on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange after raising £2 million at 4p per share.

The fund raise comprised a £1,639,400 placing and an oversubscribed £360,600 retail offer.

The company will debut today at 8:00 a.m. under the ticker MPAL with an initial market capitalisation of about £16.52 million.

MedPal AI’s core product is a non-clinical wellness app that aggregates metrics from over 100 wearables and health apps, offering lifestyle guidance and signposting to care when needed. The company is developing a conversational AI coach and plans to license its platform to healthcare providers, employers and insurers.

MedPal recently entered into an agreement with Epassi UK Limited which facilitates the provision of employee benefits to over 11 million people through companies such as Siemens, Volvo, Bosch and RSK Group.

These benefits focus on wellbeing via personal fitness (gym membership), physical health (private healthcare) and active lifestyle (discounts on digital fitness, travel, leisure and health food brands).

Under the agreement, Medpal AI has granted Epassi the exclusive right to offer the app on a zero-cost basis to Epassi's clients and merchant customers

“We are delighted to announce MedPal AI’s admission to AIM. This is a key step to scaling up AI and machine learning insights from aggregated real-time health data that will provide wellbeing monitoring, lifestyle advice, and recommended bio-hacks,” said MedPal’s Chief Executive Jason Drummond.

“Surging digital health adoption has created a significant market opportunity as over 1.3 billion people globally are expected to use digital health tools such as wearables or health apps in 2025."

AIM admission and an oversubscribed retail offer set a reasonable base, with an initial value around £16.52 million. The Epassi route could aid early distribution at low cost.

Clear updates on engagement, retention and the conversational AI rollout would help gauge momentum.
