Mindflair (MFAI) , the AI-focused investment company, noted that portfolio company Captur has completed a US$6 million seed funding round led by Rally Ventures, with additional participation from existing investor Sure Valley Ventures.
Captur is held within Sure Valley Ventures’ second fund (SVV2), in which Mindflair has an interest. Captur develops AI infrastructure for enterprise mobile applications that verifies user-submitted photos for quality and accuracy directly on a mobile device.
The platform analyses images in about 30 milliseconds without requiring an internet connection or cloud-based inference. Meanwhile, Captur currently processes tens of millions of images each month across delivery, mobility and e-commerce platforms.
The new funding will support expansion of the company’s team and accelerate product development as Captur scales its edge AI engine across additional industry verticals. The company is already seeing adoption in sectors including logistics, micro-mobility and retail.
Captur’s technology is designed to address what it describes as AI’s “last-mile problem” in real-world image capture, where businesses require reliable photographic proof of events such as deliveries, parked vehicles or completed inspections. By running computer vision models entirely on-device, the platform provides real-time verification and feedback before a user completes a transaction.
In addition, the company says its technology delivers human-level or better accuracy across more than 6,000 mobile device types. Processing images on-device rather than in the cloud aims to provide instant verification, predictable scaling costs and an improved user experience.
Mindflair’s Director Nicholas Lee said: “Captur is addressing a significant practical challenge in the deployment of AI in enterprise mobile workflows. Its ability to deliver real-time, on-device image verification across a broad range of handsets represents a compelling technical achievement and a strong commercial proposition. We are pleased to see the company attract the support of Rally Ventures and to secure this latest round of funding as it continues to scale.”

The funding round highlights continued investor appetite for enterprise AI infrastructure, particularly solutions that can run directly on devices rather than relying on cloud processing. For Mindflair, the development signals progress within the Sure Valley Ventures portfolio and underlines the potential value creation from early-stage AI investments as portfolio companies move through funding rounds and scale commercially.
