Bahamas Petroleum Company Director Eytan Uliel talks about why drilling successfully in the bahamas would be a needle moving event not just for the company, but also for the global industry and the nation of the Bahamas.
Mr. Uliel said: “Over the next three to four months as we lead up towards drilling there will be news on the rig contract, news on the integrated well services, we are making progress on our environmental permitting, it's all going well and it's all progressing according to schedule at the moment”
Commenting on the progress of the search for a farm-out partner, he added: “As a company we’ve taken our destiny into our own hands, so if we can conclude something, well and good, and if we can’t, well we now have the resources, the capabilities, the funding, the partners needed so we can just get on and drill this well ourselves anyway.”
