Hydrogen Utopia International PLC (HUI),  a waste-to-fuels and hydrogen company focused on turning difficult-to-recycle waste into valuable low-carbon products, announced that its subsidiary, HUI Advanced Fuels Limited (HAF), has selected Honeywell Technologies to provide licensing and process technologies for its planned sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) facility in northeast England. HUI said, “Electing Honeywell Technologies UOP process solutions for our planned U.K. SAF facility is an important step in the project’s development and provides an established route for key process steps, providing surety to lenders, investors, off-takers and strategic partners. With Honeywell Technologies UOP as our technology licensor, we are able to strengthen the technical foundations of the project by drawing on its extensive experience in refining and advanced fuels. We look forward to working with Honeywell Technologies as we progress through the development and engineering, procurement and construction phases of the project.”

Comment: it is difficult to imagine a more significant counterparty for HUI, or a better valuation for its technology: perhaps SpaceX, Elon Musk, Thomas Edison, or the Arkangel Gabriel too? As has been said previously with regard to HUI, it is being held back by the stock markets’s negative share price fixing cartel, although Honeywell being in the mixed suggests that soon HUI will be fully appreciated, which in this case would mean north of 10p.

Anglesey Mining plc (AYM),  the UK-based mineral exploration and development company advancing the UK’s largest polymetallic and 100%-owned Parys Mountain copper-zinc-lead-silver-gold volcanogenic massive sulphide (“VMS”) project in Anglesey, North Wales, announced it has raised in aggregate £1,250,000 at a price of 4.5 pence. AYM said “The new management team continues to advance Parys Mountain, and this fundraise will allow us to decisively accelerate key work streams around the development of the resource inventory and de-risking of the project generally. In particular, this capital raise will enable us to undertake a new drilling programme at Parys Mountain, targeting previously undrilled areas in between Engine/Deep Engine and the Garth Daniel systems, with the objective of establishing a connection between the two. In addition, Anglesey intends to extend the Northern Copper Zone and Garth Daniel Zone to the north-east and east. This will be the first drilling at Parys Mountain since 2023, where grades in excess of 6% copper equivalent were encountered. Already the UK’s largest polymetallic project, a successful drill campaign will add material tonnage to the existing 16.1Mt resource with an average grade of 1.9% copper equivalent.

Comment: This is good time as far as AYM raising cash, and now being able ot get on with the prospect of decent, significant discovery. This is on top of the 16Mt resource of 1.9%, which the market remains surprisingly complacent about, especially in the current macro-environment, and with the UK needed to have commodities security.

Helium One Global (HE1),  the primary helium explorer in Tanzania with a 50% working interest in the Galactica-Pegasus helium development project in Colorado, USA, notes the Blue Star Helium (ASX:BNL) announcement issued on Friday 30th October regarding the Galactica-Pegasus Project. The focus is on increasing production volumes and progressing towards sustained commercial operations.  Blue Star report that further enhancement of production from existing wells will include looking at the potential to deepen existing production wells to expose more reservoir and further increase flow.

The farm-out process for Helium One’s southern Rukwa Helium Project remains ongoing with international advisory firm PVE Consulting Ltd. In parallel with the ongoing evaluation of the extended ESP testing phase completed earlier this year, the Company has recently completed the successful drilling of three shallow, vertical stratigraphic wells close to the Itumbula helium discovery within the 480 km2 Mining Licence area.

Comment: Having recently raised £3m, the coast is clear as far as those looking to take position in the stock once again, and rising the twin drivers of developments in the US and Tanzania. Indeed, it may be that the fortunes of the company are once again tipping towards Rukwa, if only on the basis of the massive footprint of the licence area.

Vast Resources plc (VAST),  the mining company with production and development assets in Tajikistan and Romania, announced its audited final results for the 12-month period ended 30 April 2026. On 22 December 2025 the Company announced its proposed reverse takeover of Gulf International Minerals Limited, a company with a 49% interest in a Tajik gold and silver mining joint-venture with the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan. As part of the reverse takeover transaction the Company entered into a two-year debt facility with Glencore for US$10 million, which, together with a raise of £8.3 million (US$11.2 million) before costs, allowed the Company to repay both its two secured lenders Alpha and Mercuria. The financing arrangement with Glencore is testament to the potential of the Company’s assets, particularly Aprelevka which is producing and is profitable.

Comment: Those who may have taken their eye off the ball as far as VAST’s newsflow in recent months look as though they have perhaps missed some of the best developments in the company’s history. This is especially the case given the facility with Glencore, yes that Glencore, which ordinarily would be regarded as a serious company maker in its own right.

Reveille [AQSE: REV], a uranium exploration and development company with a primary focus on Italy's largest uranium deposits, announced the appointment of Carole Whittall as a Strategic Advisor to the Company, with effect from today. Carole will advise the Board on Reveille’s growth strategy, financial planning, capital allocation and funding priorities, and the Company’s development as a listed business. Carole is Chief Financial Officer and an Executive Director of Yellow Cake plc, a uranium investment company with a market capitalisation of approximately £1.33 billion as at 30 October 2026. She has more than 25 years’ experience in the natural resources sector, including in finance, corporate development and mergers and acquisitions.

Comment: After the recent appointment of Mike Pompeo, it was almost worth entertaining the idea of another international heavy hitter. This is even though with Pompeo on board REV has more than enough in this respect. Instead, today’s appointment of a serious uranium specialist is just what the doctor ordered. A fresh share price leg towards the mid 20p’s and beyond beckons.

IXICO plc (IXI),   a global leader in neuroscience imaging and biomarker analytics, using its AI-driven platform to help advance drug development and diagnostics in neurological disorders, today announced that it has won a global Phase 3 clinical trial contract in Huntington’s disease (HD) with an international biotechnology company.  The contract is worth £2.7million in revenues to IXICO over the next six years.  This is the second Phase 3 HD contract that IXICO has been awarded over the past 12 months, reinforcing its position as a trusted partner to biopharma companies as an increasing number of innovative new therapies in HD advance to late stage clinical trials and potential FDA approval. The news follows the announcement in late October of two contract wins in Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) and sees a continuation of IXICO’s revenue growth momentum and order book expansion.

Comment: IXI has really been on a roll over the past month, with the shares doubling off their lows, and the newsflow being first class. This state of affairs regarding the fundamentals looks as though it could only get better, and that we can dare to dream of the company as a significant player in its field.

Quadrise Plc (QED),  the manufacturer of lower cost, lower emission, replacement fuels and biofuels for shipping and heavy industry, provides an update on its project with Valkor Technologies LLC ("Valkor") in Utah, USA. Valkor has advised the Company that it now expects to pay US$300,000 of the outstanding US$950,000 site licence fee balance, that was due by 31 October 2026, in early November 2026. The remaining US$650,000 balance is expected to be paid upon completion of Valkor's ongoing fundraising process in Q4 2026.

Comment: Part of the game as far as the small cap zone is luck, not just the skills of the management. It would appear that after a long gestation period, and even longer bear run, QED is coming out of the darkness into the light. Valkor getting its chequebook at this time is particularly helpful.

Alkemy Capital Investments plc (ALK),  the 100% owner of Tees Valley Lithium Ltd ("TVL"), provided an update on the financing of Train 1, the first 25,000 tonne per year production train of TVL’s lithium hydroxide refinery at Billingham ("Train 1"). In September 2026, TVL received an Offer in Principle for a DRIVE35 capital grant of up to £18.3 million, the cornerstone of the Train 1 financing. TVL has in addition continued its engagement with several leading financial institutions who have expressed strong interest in providing the debt portion of the train 1 financing and has now received indicative terms from a US-based firm for a senior secured credit facility of up to US$150 million.

Comment: it is interesting that even though one can say that ALK has got over the line on the funding front, the market is not treating the company as if it has, or perhaps just as importantly not appreciated the magnitude of the achievement. Given that the shares are still in the low end of a 200p – 450p range, some may regard this state of affairs as an opportunity.

Blackbird plc (BIRD) , the technology licensor, developer and seller of market-leading cloud native video editing platform, Blackbird, and developer of the online collaborative video editing and content creation platform, elevate.io, announced the appointment of Youri Hazanov, a current non-executive director, as the Company’s interim non-executive Chair. Blackbird’s Chief Executive Officer, Ian McDonough, had taken on the role of Chair, on an interim basis, following the previous Chair stepping down in June 2025.

Comment: Having not received any Halloween party invites, I finally got around to familiarising myself with the elevate.io video editing software. The company is on a roll given the recent win as far as being on the Google Chromebook Perks, and the latest appointment at the company will no doubt be useful in addressing what is a busy time for the company, and a much better time for the share price.
