Cornish Tin & Lithium Limited is an exploration company primarily focused on investigating tin and lithium mineralisation in Cornwall, SW England. Their flagship project is The Great Wheal Vor group of 26 former producing tin and copper mines in the mining district of Breage, Cornwall. Historic grade estimates indicate, if mined today, it could be in the top 3 highest grade tin mines in the world. In addition, Cornish Tin has discovered a potential new lithium field buried in the flanks of the Tregonning Granite which underlies most of their Exploration Area.
Cornish Tin’s co-founders are Sally Norcross-Webb and Clive Newall: a highly experienced management team with a depth of collective experience in running mining projects and taking them from exploration to production.

Founder and Chief Excecutive Officer of Cornish Tin
ally founded Cornish Tin in 2017 and has since then been managing the Company, advancing its Great Wheal Vor Project in the Mining District of Breage, Cornwall and undertaking comprehensive executive responsibility for all aspects of the Company’s activities and strategic development. She spent five years (at her personal cost) prior to the company's first exploration drilling program in 2022, putting together the necessary mineral rights package, working with geologists to design the drilling program, and personally getting the necessary permits and funding to advance the project. Sally is a mining and corporate finance lawyer and a mining, mineral exploration and mineral rights specialist in various jurisdictions globally including the UK. She has worked at Allen & Overy (London) having trained there, Allens (Sydney) and Slaughter and May (London) in the mining and natural resources sectors. She has presented to the World Association of Mining Lawyers on mining and mineral rights in the UK. She has lived and worked in Cornwall from 2011 as a mining lawyer, and in this capacity advised Cornish Metals, Cornish Lithium, Cornwall Resources, Wolf Minerals, and various funds involved in mining. From January 2022 she has been employed full time as the CEO of Cornish Tin.

Chairman and co-founder
Clive has worked in mining and exploration throughout his career, having spent 25 years in the leadership team of TSX-listed First Quantum Minerals, one of the world’s largest and most successful copper companies. He co-founded First Quantum, and has taken it from its early days as a start-up mineral exploration company, to the international exploration and mining company it is today, with a market capitalisation of approx CAD 32 bn, and approx 18,000 employees worldwide. Since the formation of First Quantum in 1996 Clive has been its President and also an Executive Director until 2021, when he became a Non-Executive Director. He retired from the Board of First Quantum in May 2022, having become the Chairman of Cornish Tin in November 2021. Clive graduated from the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College, London with an honours degree in Mining Geology and was awarded an MBA from the Scottish Business School at Strathclyde University. He lives in Cornwall and has a great depth of knowledge and experience of Cornish geology, mineral projects, exploration and mining. In his early career as a geologist he worked with AMAX PLC, and was closely involved in a number of mineral exploration projects in Cornwall.
