Mobile Streams (MOS ) has reported an increase of 87.5% in monthly revenue since the start of December 2021,  monthly revenue now exceeding $0.15m per month across all channels.

While the mobile content and data intelligence company intends to report revenue figures on a quarterly basis going forward, it has noted the growth in revenues at this stage this morning.

The company also informed investors that it is now in the process of uploading its content, including Esports, to the app distribution platform, Huawei App gallery, and it anticipates that once successful, this content will be made available across the Huawei handset user base.

Commenting today, Mark Epstein, CEO Mobile Streams plc, said: “We are delighted to announce that our monthly revenue now exceeds $150,000 per month. It’s great to be delivering this level of growth and just shows how far the whole Company has come.

Our partnerships continue to go from strength to strength, increasing both our targetable audience across the world and the amount of content we have to show them. We intend to keep up the fast pace and keep delivering for customers, partners and shareholders.”

Last month, Mobile Streams extended its existing partnership with the gaming developer, International Gaming Systems AB (IGS), to launch a global gaming platform ‘Battleriff’.

The mobile content and data intelligence company said it expects Battleriff to open up additional opportunities to sell products to its global audience of over 800 million people.

In January 2022, Mobile Streams announced that it had signed a major strategic partnership contract with IGS which could deliver significant revenue. At the time, the Company said it expected monthly revenue across all services to exceed $0.12 million in January alone.

Under the terms of this contract, IGS had committed to deliver minimum revenue to Mobile Streams of $0.72 million over the first six months of the deal. IGS added that it would also be actively looking for other opportunities to grow revenues in partnership with Mobile Streams.

Last week, the company said the extension of this existing partnership was representative of the next step in its transformation “into a leading global esports and content provider.”

The company said it expects a number of additional opportunities to sell further products to its audience of over 800 million people, with these opportunities to include, inter alia, licensed NFT content and branded merchandise, as well as skins trading, the company told investors.

To date, the Battleriff platform has hosted over 3,500 competitions, with some of the most successful ones being the Battleriff Pro League and Invitational Tournaments for Hearthstone.

The Battleriff Pro League was run under a licence with American video gaming firm Activision Blizzard, awarding top participants an entry into Blizzards top tier Masters Tour competitions.

The Invitational Tournaments featured many of the best players in the world and allowed up and coming players to have a chance at qualifying and playing against the Pro players.

Commenting, Mark Epstein, Chief Executive Officer of Mobile Streams, said there is “enormous scope” to grow both mobilegaming.com and the company’s service offering.

Also commenting, Anders Holmstedt, Chief Executive Officer of IGS, added: “We can’t wait to roll out more services together. We feel there is a huge opportunity to grow revenue and utilise the best of both companies to grow combined global reach. This is just the start.”
