Rift Helium has listed on Aim and raised £8 million in the process. Some serious backers are behind the company, including RAB Capital and Miton, and lists amongst its senior advisors well-known names in helium Neil Herbert and Tom Abraham-James. The company plans to embark on a major programme of 3-D seismic this year, and will likely drill two wells in 2027, although the details of the drilling will be determined by the results of the seismic. Rift is entering an area in which other helium companies are already operating, and will be able to deploy some of the knowledge gleaned by those first movers. Charlie Fitzroy, the company's chief executive joins Vox to tell us more.
