Seeing Machine's aviation division has sealed their first commercial program agreement. The group will provide eye and face tracking sensor technologies to the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) for a new Pilot Training System.

The monitoring technology will be installed first in two advanced flight training simulators. RAAF’s Acting Director for Integration and Innovation Danny McCreadie believes the adoption of Seeing Machine’s technology will “improve overall training efficiencies, reduce cost and failure rate.”

This initial implementation will be used to demonstrate the technology’s core capability and the partners foresee a significant potential for future deployment across a range of military platforms and systems. Since releasing the news, Seeing Machine's share prices have risen over 6%.

Ken Kroeger, CEO of Seeing Machines, celebrated the news by lauding his team’s hard work; “This program follows on from our successful engagement with several major airline carriers, simulator manufacturers and air traffic management services and is affirmation that the substantial work done by our team to develop this market is now paying off."
